Julie! What was she like?
ReplyDelete"Mom" always remembered birthdays. Never a year would go by without getting a BDay card from her. Mom and I became close, probably in the last few years closer than Sandy and Mom. I could accept her faults much more than Sandy. She was kind to us. We often between houses or during the summer when we rented the house out stay when Mom. After we sold our house in 1998 to retire to Alabama, we again lived with her for several months. After moving to Alabama, I (Bill Peterson) would come back to Flint and stay/live in her house while doing contract/consulting work with Grand Blanc Schools. We shared meals, often played cards and sometimes I would talk with her about the olds days. She loved her family, kids, son-in-laws and of course Victor.
Yes, she was sometimes rough around the edges. But always kind hearted.
